The 2013 celebrations started with two Exhibition Football matches. The match between Ex-Mohun Bagan Players where the Secretary's Team defeated the President's Team 2-0 (Shri Prashanta Chakravarty and Shri Amar Ganguly) The next Exhibition football match between Artists Forum and Media ended in a 1-1 draw ( Shri Tabun Munshi, Artists and Shri Sounak Chakravarty, Media)
The main program started with presentation of Mohun Bagan Jerseys to players of the Senior Football Team and presentation of Late Dhiren Dey Memorial Award to Best Cricketer, Mr. Subhomoy Das. It was followed by felicitation of Cricketer, Mr. Md. Sami, for inclusion in Indian Cricket Team. The Late Karuna Sankar Bhattacharya Award for Best Footballer was presented to Mr. Denson Devadas and the Sailen Manna Memorial Award for Best Sportsperson was presented to Athlete Ms. Asha Roy.It was followed by felicitation of Mr. Subrata Bhattacharya, Arjuna Awardee for having a postage stamp issued on him. Mr. Prasun Banerjee, Arjuna Awardee was also felicitated for being the first footballer to become Hon’ble Member of Parliament. Mr. Prince Rufus, Operations Manager of McDowell's Mohun Bagan was felicitated for being the AFC Match Commissioner. The most important award of the day, the Mohun Bagan Ratna was presented posthumously to Late Balai Das Chatterjee.
The day ended with performances by Mr. Srikanta Acharya and Ms. Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury.

Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal was the Chief Guest at the function this year where Pradip Kumar Banerjee was presented with the prestigious Mohun Bagan Ratna award. The family members of the legendary team members were present. Shreya Ghosal, Babul Supriyo and Indrani Sen performed at the function.
The function on 29 July, 2010 which was the 100th year celebration of the great victory was graced by Shri M. K. Narayanan, Governor of West Bengal. The celebration started with a torch relay from Mohun Bagan Lane in North Kolkata to the Mohun Bagan tent. The above video is of the speech Shri Narayanan delivered at the function.
The Governor along with the Post-master General Mr. S. Chakraborty released a special postage cover to commemorate the historic day. The team members who made the dream come true was conferred Mohun Bagan Ratno posthumously this year(Shibnath Bhaduri was awarded earlier).
The Bengali band Chandrabindoo, Lopamudra Mitro and Srabani Sen performed at the cultural program. The music album of the Bengali movie "Egaro" made on the epic victory was also launched at the function. A few exhibition matches were also organized during the day between media persons, ex-players and artists.
